Tomato promises

My tomato plants are producing promising fruit – some of it is even starting to turn a lovely shade of tomato red. John’s promised to make sauce from the plum tomatoes, and I can’t wait to saute cherry tomatoes in olive oil and minced garlic for a couple of minutes over high heat (just until their skins start to split), sprinkle them with chopped basil from the garden, and dig in. Yum!

They look great! Mine are just growing their first true leaves. (Started late this year) I like to sprinkle a little parmesan on my tomatoes.
