It’s dangerous to have opinions

As this video of author and New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman getting hit by two pies at Brown University demonstrates:

This kind of behavior is juvenile and counterproductive. Whatever the protesters’ disagreements with Thomas Friedman might be, throwing pies give us us no way to evaluate them on the merits, and quite frankly, I have little desire to even try after seeing this ridiculous stunt.
