ScienceDaily has a “death map” that shows where in the United States you’re most likely to die of “natural events such as floods, earthquakes or extreme weather.” Deep blue indicates the lowest odds, deep red indicates the highest odds.
Looks like the San Francisco Bay Area, in addition to being deep blue politically (a good thing), is also deep blue from a natural-disaster-related death point of view (another good thing).
