Apparently, headline writers need more than an annual reminder that we all have a 100 percent chance of dying:

US News and World Report headline that ignores the fact that all of us die
Maybe the headline writer at US News and World Report has discovered the fountain of youth or some other secret to immortality, but failing that, this headline makes no sense. The headline should have focused on the fact that abnormal heart rhythms in diabetics should point doctors to specific treatments.
I hate to be a party pooper, but whether we’re diabetics with abnormal heart rhythms or paragons of perfect health, we all have a 100 percent chance of dying.
Bet on it.
