Earlier this year, conservative darling, Republican vice-presidential nominee, and tea-bag hero Sarah Palin called for Rahm Emanuel, President Barack Obama’s chief of staff, to be fired because he used the word retard.
Yesterday, Sarah Palin complained about the “language police” who are criticizing her threatening, violence-tinged choice of words about Democratic congressmen she hopes aren’t re-elected in November.
All of which leads me to wonder: Is she too stupid to notice the raging hypocrisy, or does she think her followers are too stupid to notice? Does she notice the hypocrisy and is too intellectually dishonest to care? Does she think her followers notice the hypocrisy and are too intellectually dishonest to care?
None of the possibilities are flattering to her or to her supporters.
