Editors are important, part 52

Vanity Fair’s editors took their red (and green and blue) pencils to Sarah Palin’s resignation speech. Take a look to see how much better any writing can be — even the scattered, inaccurate, misleading, contradictory, and ungrammatical thoughts of Sarah Palin — with the help of a skilled editor.

(To be fair, Palin’s speech took the work of three skilled editors, but you see my point.)
