Even when it comes to sewing:
Apostrophe misuse like this makes my head hurt. I wonder, what logic did the designer use to decide that an apostrophe was needed before the ‘s’ that ends the first word, but not before the ‘s’ that ends the last word? The designer doesn’t even seem to be consistent in his or her bad grammar and punctuation skills.
I found this pillow with the “warning: a word-ending ‘s’ is coming” apostrophe misuse languishing at my local TJ Maxx store, where the retailer was asking an eye-popping $12.99 for this punctuation-challenged accessory.
